ABOUT ME

Hi there. My name is Charlie White and I am a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer who is currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. For what feels like my whole life I have been playing, writing and listening to music. For over four years I have been the lead songwriter, vocalist and guitarist of my band We Build Spaceships and intend to record our debut album in the near future.

I chose to pursue music as my career not purely out of passion, but because of the impact i’ve seen it have on many people in my life. In saying so, I aspire to be an artist who not only writes music that pushes boundaries, but music that also connects with people in need. Through the release of some of my band’s work I’ve been met with praise from fans exclaiming how much my work may have helped them through a tough time. Such impact that I have seen is why I pursue a career of emotional connection through music.

As I complete my course I will gain more knowledge of not only the industry but the practice of music. In doing so, I will be able to pursue this goal as a groundbreaking yet also socially impactful artist.
